Travelling To Singapore


Singapore, also called the Lion City, is an island state that is located in South-East Asia. It was a British trading colony founded in 1819. Today it is a modern and prosperous country. There are many tourist attraction and interesting places in Singapore that you should visit. Some of them are as follows.

Haw Par Villa (Tiger Balm Gardens): It is located at Pasir Panjang Road. It is about 10 kms west from city. It was built by Aw Brothers. it is considered as a theme park of Chinese mythology. Here the private collection of Aw brothers is displayed.

Sentosa Island: It is one of the most attractive places and island for tourists. Around 3.5 million people visit this place every year. This island has numerous museums and other activities such as South-East Asia’s largest oceanarium.

Singapore Zoo: It is a home to 2000 animals and 250 avian species. The most attractive feature is Night safari which enables you to see activities of nocturnal animals.

Thian Hock Keng Temple: It is the oldest Chinese temple in Singapore and it was built in 1841. It is dedicated to Ma Cho Po, the Queen of Heaven who was a protector of sailors.
